Settings for you in every spreadsheet. They are kept in your qaction profile, not in the file.
General
ThemeThe editor follows qaction unless you choose here.
RibbonCompact shows one row of the most used commands; Full shows every group with its label.
Dark cells in the dark themeDraws the grid dark too. Printing and downloads always use the file’s own colours.
Saving
AutoSaveSaves every change to qaction as you work. Off: changes are kept on the server until you save.
Proofing
Spelling languageFor new text. Text you have marked keeps its own language.
Ignore words in UPPERCASEClaim and policy numbers such as HM-HOME are not flagged.
Ignore words that contain numbersCS-2041, NW-Q-88412.

Language and region

Decimal and thousands separatorsUse the regional format’s separators, or set your own.
Formulas
Workbook calculationManual: press F9 to recalculate. Saving always recalculates.
Iterative calculationFor circular references: stops after 100 iterations or a change under 0.001.
R1C1 reference styleRefers to cells by row and column number (R3C2) instead of B3.
Editing
UnitsFor margins, indents, column widths in dialogs and the ruler.
After pressing Enter, moveThe direction the selection moves after Enter.
Paste from other programsWhat Ctrl+V keeps when the source is not this editor.
Accessibility
Always underline linksLinks are underlined in the editor even when the file’s style hides it.
Keep KeyTips visibleAfter Alt+Windows key, badges stay until you press Esc.
Reduce motionFollows your system setting: on. Animations in slide shows still play.
Announce formula resultsScreen readers hear the result after you enter a formula.
